Stories abound within the Realms of Arva. The realms themselves change, heroes rise up to take on new challenges, and gods vie for control in ever-increasingly violent clashes.

Witnesses
Eons ago, before the the universe was created, the Creator formed the El-nur, witnesses to El’s creative efforts, and intended future rulers over creation. El alone, as the great animator of life through the gift of the Wind Everlasting, brought into being these lofty spiritual being.

Creation
El, within the cloud of witnesses, creates the universe itself, what we now call the Material Plane. He fills the worlds created with life in abundance – showing the El-nur how the Wind Everlasting breathes life into the worlds and how to rule in wisdom and love.

Shahar
The first of the El-nur, Shahar, the Son of the Dawn, desired to wield the Wind Everlasting. He sought to create and control things of his own, without the help of El or the El-nur.
El denies him the ability to wield the Wind Everlasting, and so Shahar rebels, defying the creative will of El and marking him out as the first evil, the first rebellion. And so Shahar is cast out, removed from the Great Council.

Attempted Redemption
The other El-nur, inspired by El’s teachings and seeking to carry out his wishes, but lacking in the ability to understand the evil and hatred that Shahar has wrapped about himself, attempts to release him to see him redeemed and returned to the council.
But Shahar had grown bitter in his absence from the Council. El had sought him out and attempted to teach him, primarily that all creative acts ultimately come from him, all things that they devise or add to creation are simply explorations of the mind of El, and even those that they twist will eventually be turned back to glorify El.

Malice
And so when the El-nur sought out Shahar he wrapped about them malice and pride, offence at not being told all secrets and all knowledge. Shahar became The Nahash, the liar, and now seeks only to destroy creation – forgetting his prior desires of control, rule, and creation.

The Sundering
The Nahash leads some members of the Council in rebellion, and they leave The Windy Shores to reside in creation, or what will eventually become The Dark as they seek to corrupt and destroy. This event is comes to be called The Sundering and these corrupted El-nur forever known as The Shadows.
Realms of Arva
Early in the creation of the worlds El, the great Creator, approached Arva and invited her to weave a portion of the great story alongside him. El and Arva, together, created the great Solar Crystal, a shard that spanned the size of a galaxy of stars…

The Great Shard
This shard was to be a beacon of creativity and love – a shard that a universe of worlds could look to in the night sky and know that all the El-nur, great and small, looked down upon them.

The Defence
When The Sundering occurred, Arva moved to defend the Solar Crystal, leaving the Windy Shores to dwell in creation, vigilant to an enemy that would surely seek the destruction of something so good. And so Arva was proven right, for the Shadows, led by the Nahash himself, descended on the great shard with all their might.

Shattering
Further and further was Arva pushed back, until, finally, the enemy surrounded her form. While she held tight to the crystal, Arva was finally crushed and her being was broken against the shard itself. Both Arva and the Solar Crystal were shattered into infinite slivers of crystal and light.

The Realms are Formed
As the soul of Arva collapsed, it coalesced with the now shattered fragments of the Solar Crystal, and from this destruction what would become known as the Realms of Arva began to exist. A galaxy was formed of the fragmented remains of god and crystal, brought together by the Wind Everlasting. Worlds incalculable formed out of the milieu, most of whom do not even know the name Arva, let alone from where the ultimately come from.
