They come from the depths of Leviathan’s abyssal realm. Each a behemoth a hundred or more meters tall, these creatures are emissaries of destruction forged to rend Yume’s delicate balance. Their titanic bodies marry raw, pulsing muscle with angular, rune-etched relic plating, cloaked in volcanic scales that hiss and grind like colliding tectonic plates. Though they come in a number of body-forms, the most common include six gargantuan limbs that propel them through storm-tossed seas: two for earth-shaking strides, two for seizing and crushing all in their path, and two for scaling cliffs or smashing through bastions of stone and steel. From each armored lower back coils a serpentine tail, designed to gouge trenches through oceans and whip up cataclysmic waves. Their heavy, low-set heads bear eyes of molten amber, burning not with reverence for Shinju, but with Leviathan’s cold, merciless intent.
Legends once spoke of Colossi as Shinju’s ancient guardians; now they stand revealed as Leviathan’s scourges, titanic harbingers of ruin. This is the primary role of Nimbus – to make sure these never make it to Yume.
