Nimbus

Creator:

Perched like a crown on Yume’s canopy, Nimbus is a cathedral of spires, glass-tubed walkways, and gardens that float among drifting clouds. Here, sunlight weaves through living lattices of crystal—each shard humming with arcane resonance. The Shinsei Council convenes in the Chamber of Roots, a vaulted sanctum where jurists, clerics, and scholars debate the well-being of Yume, while orbs of pure energy illuminate frescoes depicting the creator’s forging of Shinju itself.

Life in Nimbus is ordered yet growing more and more fragile. Arcane academies teach both ritual and reason, instilling reverence for tradition alongside a hunger for innovation. Students memorize the history of Yume by day, pilot energy-drones by night, and argue ethics over steaming cups of sap-tea. But beyond the gilded walls, dissent blooms: voices claiming Nimbus’s distance from suffering below, denouncing the Citadel’s lofty detachment. Even so, Nimbus continues its greatest task, that of keeping Yume safe from the incursions of the monstrosities from without.
